NASSAU COUNTY, FL., February 15, 2021 — The Pride were victorious Saturday night with a 133-122 win over the St. Augustine Glory. “We were missing a few of our guys tonight, but we rallied around each other to get the win” said Coach Joshua. The Pride implemented new defensive schemes that Coach Joshua wanted to incorporate. “We tried some new things tonight, and were happy how the guys adjusted on the fly” Coach Julian Williams went on to add.
Guards, Dylon Cormier, Tyrone Young and Darius Sharpe, led an offensive assault in the fight towards victory. “Our bigs really stepped up tonight, securing big time rebounds and making crucial plays on the defensive end when it really mattered”, said Coach Joshua. Forwards, Tommy Collins, Terik Richardson, Dante Russell Hall and Charles Evans had great games. “They did all the dirty work, they were the back bone of tonight’s win” said Coach Joshua. The Pride had limited numbers but came together to fill in every role with precision.
The Pride look forward to their next game as they take on the Jacksonville Giants this Wednesday, February 17th, 6PM at Christ the King Catholic School in Jacksonville, FL. The Giants will be permitting fans at this game, a live stream will also be available for all Pride fans to view.
